KTM India is set to roll out two new models this August—the 160 Duke and the RC 160—targeting performance enthusiasts at an accessible price point.

The 160 Duke, recently teased on social media, marks KTM’s return to the entry-level performance segment after discontinuing the 125 Duke. It’s expected to debut this month, competing with rivals like the Yamaha MT-15, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and Honda CB Hornet 2.0.

Concurrently, KTM plans to launch the RC 160, a fully faired sports model, targeting the Yamaha R15 V4 and strengthening its presence in the sporty 160cc category.

Both models are expected to share the 160cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, likely derived from the RC 200’s unit, producing around 20 bhp and 15 Nm torque. The RC 160 is anticipated to adopt similar chassis, suspension, and braking components from the RC 200, along with a quickshifter and sporty aesthetics.

Launch Timeline & Pricing

  • 160 Duke: Expected in August 2025, priced between ₹1.7 lakh to ₹1.8 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • RC 160: Slated for October 2025 launch, with bookings likely starting in September.
