Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has recently acquired a 25,000 square foot plot in Ayodhya for approximately ₹40 crore, marking his fourth property investment in the city. This latest acquisition is situated near the upscale ‘Sarayu’ development, a luxury project by The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), where Bachchan had previously invested ₹14.5 crore .
Ayodhya’s real estate market is experiencing significant growth, driven by infrastructural developments like the expansion of the international airport, improved connectivity, and the construction of the Ram Mandir. A report by Liases Foras titled “Ayodhya – A Rising Global Spiritual Capital” notes that land prices in the city have grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19%, with projections suggesting this could reach 25% by 2035.
